The Lanzerac Manor & Winery is sited on a private working wine estate in the distinguished Jonkershoek Valley encircled by the histrionic Helderberg mountains. The hotel's rooms, restaurants, bar, lounge and facilities are all located in the estate’s 300 year old Manor House and out-buildings, amidst 10 hectares of award-winning land-scaped gardens.
The hotel is situated at the core of the famous South African wine pro-ducing areas of Stellenbosch, Paarl, Franschhoek and Somerset West, and in close proximity of numerous golf courses and the beaches of the Strand, Gordon’s Bay and Cape Town - the perfect base from which to explore the landmarks of the fairest Cape. (From 20 to 70 minutes.) The Lanzerac Manor exudes exclusivity as a member of Gatsby International, offering only 48 elegant rooms inclusive of 7 gracious suites.

The Governors Hall Restaurant is the hotel's elegant a la Carte restaurant with a seating capacity of 60 people. The casually shaded Lanzerac Terrace overlooks the Manor House and comfortably seats 70 people. Adjacent to the Govenor's Restaurant is the Mediterranean-styled, Lady Anne Courtyard with a seating capacity of 70 people. Private Dining can be enjoyed in the Manor Boardroom as it lends itself as an elegant private dining room gracefully furnished with antiques and featuring a lounge area with open fireplace. By prior arrangement, the exclusive Manor House can be availed for dining experiences. This venue offers 4 elegant rooms seating from 6 to 26. The Taphius Bar, adorned in yellow-wood features a large Cape Dutch kitchen fireplace. It offers 22 seats at the bar counter and an average of 14 seats per table. The timeless Craven Lounge is attributes its elegance to its phenomenal antiquities and offers a seating capacity of approximately 20 people.
Conferencing
The Lanzerac Manor & Winery offers 3 separate fully air-conditioned venues each with its own private entrance and natural daylight. Seating capacities range from 20 to 150. The Lanzerac also has a beautiful garden behind the Manor House where you can have a marquee wedding.
By prior arrangement, the exclusive 300-year-old Manor House can be made available. This venue offers 4 elegant rooms seating from 6 to 24. It is also an excellent historical venue for private in- or outdoor food and beverage functions.
Banqueting Facilities:
Somerset Room:
An elegant private dining or boardroom furnished with antiques featuring a private lounge area with open fireplace. A private entrance leads into a foyer with two private toilets. Meals are served directly from the main hotel kitchen.
The Cellar:
A separate private building adjacent to the actual Lanzerac winery and cellar with private entrance and toilets. Full separate banqueting kitchen and service are also part of the venue. A special feature is the soundproof glass wall offering a full view of the working wine cellar. The cellar can be subdivided into two separate soundproof rooms.
The Gallery:
A separate private building nestled in the vineyard surrounded by roses, this venue offers dramatic mountain views through floor to ceiling panoramic windows. Private toilets are available . This venue has a satellite kitchen.
